Right to Vote, South Carolina

Posted comment by Law Abiding US Citizen Joe Kirkup, wildlife photographer

  • In reference to the current administration's US DOJ ruling vs South Carolina, that an Identity Card is Not Required? To Vote, especially for Liberal Left totalitarian Democrats?
    Wash Times: commentary

    JoeKirkup
I am not sure how much more blatant this staggering abuse of government power has to become before we say enough is enough. Think about it, to enjoy the most important and coveted privilege granted to any citizen of any democracy on this earth, most of us would struggle through any process, take any series of tests, provide any and all forms of ID and drive halfway across whatever state we are in, to cast our ballot.

The fact that, here in America as opposed to many places, we don't have to ride all day on an old bus, full of goats and chickens, to get to the polls. We don't have to be threatened and sometimes actually killed for the privilege to cast our vote. We don't have to beg for UN election officials to keep things honest.

There are no suicide bombers waiting in the shadows for all of us to gather in a public place. We don't have to even speak English to vote. We don't have to take a literacy test. We don't have to know a wit about the US Constitution that provides for this sparkling privilege. All they ask us to do is simply get a photo ID and present it at the polls, Period. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is apparently asking too much.

Even with the lax voting laws and the constant democrat encouragement to vote (illegally if necessary), minorities, especially blacks, still don't bother. On any given election, minority turnout is about 20%. All you have to do is put down that Big Mac, turn off BET for a few minutes, get on the democrat rented school bus and go to the polls but no, even at that it is just too much trouble.

I have a commercial drivers license which requires me to submit to drug testing at random. If I get a speeding ticket anywhere I risk my license. I have a Captain's license, again random drug tests. I had to produce all manner of ID to get it, up to and including birth certificate, SS card, drug test, finger prints plus a difficult exam. I have a concealed weapons permit. Yup, you guessed it, finger prints, drug test, birth certificate, exam etc... None of these things are as precious, or as important as my Right to Vote.

I think we can all feel it in the air. Time is running out. The nation is being entirely corrupted by government in all it's insidious forms starting with teachers unions, all the way to a president who is actually an illegal alien. Young people have no concept of self reliance at all. If there's a problem you cry to the government and do your best to act like some form of victim. I for one, am just plain sick and tired of it. If your lazy, stupid, uneducated (for free) butt doesn't want to vote then don't. Just stuff down another box of McNuggets and shut up.

THE PROMISE, 2011 Hoffmantown Church ABQ NM

Hoffmantown Church in ABQ NM USA
  • has put on a pre Christmas stage performance of 'The Promise' (licensed and trademarked) for several years now. 2011 DVD's will be available. Last year was my first on stage role as a Pharisee in the beginning, and later in the program as a Shepard at the birth of Jesus (reason it is called 'The Promise').

We were in rehearsal for several weeks on various dates. The youngest person in the cast, was the baby Jesus, oldest performer was John at 80 years young. He was a Pharisee and Shepard along with myself and others. For some unexplained reason, John was assigned by production, to follow My lead? The blind leading the blind?

Our first few practices were in street clothes with the house lights bright, so no problem walking up and down the ramps leading to the stage. As we finally started to improve on our routine, the routine changed to accommodate time constraints. We retirees don't do well on random routine change. Finally the costumes were finished by the sewing ladies that worked through the summer on the lavishly impressive new garments. Our old 'hand me down' costumes were past legal drinking age.

As we ward-robed up, it became obvious that John had problems with dressing the same way for each performance. The helpful Shepard boys helped him get it right.... some of the times. Others helped him with his costume before each performance. Eventually the need to have him on stage in costume and on time, sort of became my responsibility, for some reason only God knows. :>)

John had real trouble once the house lights dimmed. He is 80 years old and his eyes no longer area as bright. John does not 'push'. He only 'pulls', and reluctantly at that. I found that by pushing him through the crowded stage performers and then pulling him when the edges of stairs and stage needed navigating, he followed my lead...sort of. In the darkness, I stepped down into the black abyss trusting a stair would be there, and then guided John clinging to the foam wall past the crevasse. We then proceeded to back stage sanctuary into the little 'Inn' on right stage at hiding times, awaiting other Pharisees

John can take dozens of tiny steps 'up' the ramps, but despises 'down' the ramps. Stairs were little better, done one at a time by sitting on the edge of the stage while clinging to the railing. This 'lights out' maneuver caused great confusion to the choir members using the same stairs. John was a US Army soldier in Korea of the 1950's, so my military reverence for him as a brother in arms, ruled over my somewhat reluctant sense of assistance to the needy.. I need to work on that.... before I am 80 :>)

The first entry has the party invitees (the little kids) entering the auditorium through the aisles and dancing onto stage with the singing choir in wedding attire (one of the rare times Baptists dance?). The Pharisees escorted each 'Bridal Party' to the wedding feast where Jesus was an honored guest during his precursor to popularity. We all then follow the dancing children (sometimes Angels) and proceeded down the aisles of the packed church to the choir's lively music on stage. The orchestra is in the pit playing the score flawlessly, to choir director Terry Adam's
  • wand waving. As the wedding was officiated by a Priest, with the goblet being stomped on by the groom, we all shouted Mozletoff.

We as Priests, were to then hurry from the crowded dancers (they had loyally practiced their complicated dance routines more hours than everyone) on stage and snack on pretzels while waiting in the halls for the succession of 'Miracles', as described in the Bible. During this time, Gregory (Balthazar) our great Orator
  • was describing the noteworthy aspects of the life of Jesus as he recalled its written history after meeting Jesus with gifts at his birth. After the wedding, the Priests left the stage as Balthazar (Gregory) told of the maturing Jesus and his life.

Each Miracle was then performed by Jesus, such as turning the water to wine at the wedding, healing the sick and lame, restoring life to the dead. All as Jesus is recorded to have performed during his life. We waited and watched from the hallway as the numerous 'props' were exiting the auditorium. Eyore the large Donkey and his little friend Donkeyote?, were endlessly exercised in the hallways by their owners. Sometimes their 'water broke' and the emergency maintenance crew was called to the scene of the flood. Soon our que. We noted the full auditorium scene of 'The Marketplace' beginning.

With John in tow, I re-entered up the back stairs to get at least two Pharisee's on stage, just as the two young spear bearing brothers comprising our 'Security', carried the tax collector's table into position on stage. John and I stood behind the tax official. The very fast and agile young 'Thief' then stole the tax purse from the table on que, whereupon the two uniformed 'security' brothers chased him, leaping from the stage with their spears and through the audience, accompanied by much shouting of the vendors.

The marketplace scene was chaotic and noisy as the people roamed among the audience hawking their wares, including many small live animals carried in arms of children. Jesus came on scene, riding on a live donkey (Eeyore)down the aisle to great expectations of leadership as their King. The crowds were ecstatic about his arrival as 'The Messiah'. We, now as four Priests, briefly stood silently behind the 50 or so dancers at the rejoicing.

We then exited briefly to wait for 'Temple' que and pull our Prayer Shawls over our ornate hats, re-entered 'The Temple' on the right stage. Jesus entered the Temple surrounded by the Disciples, and read the scrolls to describe his own 'coming' as the Messiah. The Pharisees were absolutely furious at him, declaring Himself as the Messiah and left the stage as the Temple was folded and carried off.

Eventually realizing Jesus was not their 'worldly' King as hoped, it finally turned to rejection. Priests left the stage for several minutes as Jesus was eventually betrayed by Judas and was then taken prisoner to stand trial.

As Pontius Pilot (excellently portrayed btw) and his attractive wife entered, we as the Pharisee's re-entered the stage, demanding that Jesus be brought to trial and judged for death by Crucifixion (only used on serious criminals and murderers). Pilot vocally and reluctantly signed 'the people's decree releasing murderer/thief Barabbas to the people, in place of sacrificial Jesus... All to Pilot's great disgust. He then washed his hands of the matter, throwing the towel to the floor. Caiaphas (played by Peter) loudly asked Pilot to change the wording of the decree but wisely backed off, as powerful Pilot (Caesar's managerial appointee) would not re-write ("It is written, as I have Written") the decree to satisfy the Politically Correct Pharisee's verbiage.

Jesus ('Chris' in real life :>) was roughly taken by the visibly cruel Roman soldiers for dragging through the streets (the auditorium aisles) The Via Dolorosa played by the orchestra and sung by the choir, accompanied the beleaguered Jesus, who was badly beaten, visible bloody and loudly nailed to the cross while moaning in pain. The scene was very bloody and realistic as he died in convulsions along with the thieves high on Calvary, above the disciples in mourning.

The men portraying the Roman Soldiers were excellent in their beating and degrading of Jesus.... and anyone else that dared to approach him. (A disciple on stage was actually injured and taken to the ER) It took real talent for these very strong, very fit young guys to carry the bodies, including thieves (the brothers from our 'security') off the crosses. They vividly and realistically demonstrated their trade in physical abuse. So much realism was involved, an emotional elderly woman in the audience of one performance, actually used her cane to take a swipe at the soldiers dragging Jesus down the aisle.

As the earthquake and lightning at death ensued, we as Pharisees, fled the stage. Our next scheduled role, was as Shepherds at the birth of Jesus Christ. Back to wardrobe for three Priests, and change into our raggy stock-men outfits, as the rest of the entombment and resurrection was portrayed on stage.
quick as a bunny I got John out of his Priest outfit and into his Sheppard garb. Only then did I change into my own Sheppard gear.

We went to the animal loading area for our critters. Last year I was assigned a large heavy sheep by this same stock raising family with their home schooled sons. Not desiring that 50 pound load this year (he is a fully grown large Ram now), I told them I wanted their youngish Peacock.... wrapped in diapers. Smart move, as the other Shepherds got the large Goats. We made sure John did not get an animal to complicate his performances.

Mary and Joseph entered with Mary riding on the Donkey. They found no place other than the stable and manger for the birth of Jesus. Fortunately as we Shepherds gathered round them, Mary and Joseph did not get any animal 'exhaust' on them, as happened last year when my sheep had a blowout as I slid him to the floor for relief. Baby Jesus was really great in every performance. No complaints, even as his actual mom was waiting hidden in the stable in case of problems.

Just previous to the entrance of Mary and Joseph, the Shepherds were waiting in the entrance hall for our grand entry, led by the exuberant Sheppard boys down the aisles to greet the birth of Jesus..... 'The Promise'...

Once on stage, we watched in amazement as the Three Kings (including Balthazar) followed the star to Christ's birth manger. Their newly minted costumes were regal and gilded 'to the nines' (term from antiquity). Their lavishly gilded entourage's extended for a great distance, winding through the auditorium. Two of my grand daughters and daughter in law, accompanied the Kings, as well as danced in scenes. This was a fun family affair throughout the entire month. After the Kings left the stage, we Shepherds mossied offstage in the dark to return our anxious critters to their owners loading facilities as each performance drew to a close.

Between performances (there were five in three days) we re-dressed as Pharisees a couple of times to greet the departing audience in the foyer. We got so many compliments. It was truly remarkable. Two hours of sitting in the dark and they all (thousands) still liked us? "THE PROMISE" is a Hit, and with good reason. The Promise gives HOPE in this "One Nation Under GOD". The United States of America..

MERRY CHRISTMAS to All. "Tis The Reason For The Season".

    1% vs 99%... Occupiers?

Guest post: by Robo of Cali.

CAPITALISM: "It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to 'their own' interest".
Adam Smith, "Wealth of Nations" 1776.

Wow, is that profound or what? Does he mean the butcher, brewer and baker don't care about the "Little Guy", or the "Homeless" or the "Perpetual Victims of Poverty" or the highly over compensated "Bureaucrats" in government? What the hell are they doing making money for their own self interest? What a bunch of greedy capitalists.

Isn't it interesting that when the failed economic experiments of the Marxist/Socialist/Liberal/Progressive Democratic Party fail the party officials who promised their constituents FREE everything suddenly need to relax regulations and taxes to bring back the Capitalists who produce, to support the Democrats who simply re-produce. Of course once The Party promises Free everything again, the same voting block will continue to vote them in. Been that way since Karl Marx was supported by the capitalist money of Friedrich Engles, who also didn't work for his money but inherited it from his father's mills in France and England. Marx died in poverty, when the capitalists money to support him ran out. Sound familiar?

Government Motors has experienced fires during crash tests with the Chevy all electric Volt. GM is now offering to buy back the cars that they sold to any concerned buyers. Isn't that great? Build the cars with your tax money, buy the cars back with your tax money. No risk to GM, it's only your tax money, provided you are part of the growing minority that actually pays taxes.
Of course it's always the fault of George W, Cheney, Haliburton, Big Pharma, Global Warming, and capitalists everywhere in the world. That about sum it up?

Remember which party and which media giants endorsed and highly recommended, that the voters support tax increases on the wealthy who have a billion, million, $500,000, or $250,000...depending on which speech and teleprompter tells him. If anyone believes that nonsense, I have some great deals on real estate in China that are ready for development. Just ask me and have your check book or credit card handy.

There has never been a "Soak the Rich" scheme that has ever brought in the desired results. Never has, never will be. The earned money is with the hard working middle class and that's where the historically predictable 'Value Added' Tax Increases will end up, no matter what The Messiah or his followers say. They Lie.... a lot!

There are three ways to become "Rich" in this country.
#1- Be the end product of lucky sperm and egg. Then is it fair to tax J.K. Rowling's children? who by the way, went from being deep in single mom poverty, to now the children of the most successful author, worth an estimated billion (UK facing poverty as the wealthy fled, no longer Taxes off shore earned income). If so show me where the morality is?

Is it fair to tax out of existence, the children of Bill Gates, because he was successful? Is it fair to take the money from the children or heirs of Steve Jobs, Warren Buffett or any other children of successful parents? If so tell me why greed, envy, jealousy should drive the tax man to take the wealth from them then redistribute it at some leftist appointed bureaucrat's whim?

#2- The second way to gain wealth in this country is to EARN it. Hold on, I know that's a four letter word that no, good "Progressive" Democrat wants to hear. It's true though. If the so called 99%'ers are really serious about jobs they can start their own companies and sell something they have in abundance. Ignorance! Can't tell me there isn't a market for ignorance. Just look around you, ABC, NBC, CBS, LA LA Times, New York Times, AOHELL News, HuffPost (now AOHELL news), CNN, and the whole mainstream media organizations. They all buy and publish ignorance.

Who endorsed and told the voters to back Global Warming, The Bullet Train to nowhere in California (that has now exceeded three times it's estimate, while the consultants, lawyers and staff are earning obscene incomes from the taxpayers), government funding for perpetual stem cell 'research' in California? Now that the initial funding has run out, they are coming back for even more taxpayer money (the end results are zip, nada, nothing.... as expected from unbridled bureaucracy.

All of these parasites endlessly Vote for Obama, Jerry Brown, Maxine Waters, Barbara Boxer, Henry Waxman, Joe Biden, and all the other Democrats and socialist programs favored by the media. Can't tell me there isn't a market for ignorance. Democrats buy it and sell it every day.

There are plenty of jobs out there for the self anointed 99%'ers. Maybe not the six or seven figure salary they expected with a major in Affirmative Action-Ethnic-Trangender studies, but they can certainly make coffee.

#3- The third way to get "Rich" in this country is to get a (hallelujah) government job. Doesn't have to be high level like Barack Obama, who is only paid $400,000 plus perks, but files a tax return for $1,400,000. Where did the million come from? Must be the same stock broker Hillary Clinton used when Billionaire Bill was running things. The official answer from the White House is "the million comes from Barack's two ghost written books". I find that hard to believe. All of his supporters that can read, had already bought the books before or during the 2008 campaign. For the rest of his followers, as far as I know, they have not come out in coloring book form. Good thing they aren't Republicans or they would be 'doing time'.

Have told students for years, "Get a government well paying job (preferably union), collecting trash or running a city or anything at the city, county, state, or federal level and you'll never have to work again a day in your life". "Of course you'll have salary and benefits the private sector (the earners and creators of wealth) can only dream of". There are certain conditions, of course. Knowing someone influential is Always helpful.

Also being of the PC preferred race, gender, nationality or sexual orientation really helps. Knowledge of what expertise you are applying for, is Not really necessary nor desirable, as long as you meet the PC agenda (also loyally contribute a portion of your salary, and vote for 'the party'). For proof look at Washington D.C. and Sacramento California.

PAVLOV was able to condition his dogs, Obama is able to condition his Worshipers. Dogs and Worshipers, same mentality.

    Have a good Holiday!

    Show me where I'm wrong!

    Robo of Cali.

Someone else has explained the "occupy protest." And very well.

A great article by Marybeth Hicks.

Call it an occupational hazard, but I can't look at the Occupy Wall Street protesters without thinking,... "Who parented these people?"

As a culture columnist, I've commented on the social and political ramifications of the "movement" - now known as "OWS" - whose fairyland agenda can be summarized by one of their placards: "Everything for everybody."

Thanks to their pipe-dream platform, it's clear there are people with serious designs on "transformational" change in America.
Those who are 'using' the protesters like bed springs in a brothel.

Yet it's not my role as a commentator, that prompts my parenting question, but rather the fact that I'm the mother of four teens and young adults. There are some crucial life lessons that the protesters 'moms' clearly have not passed along.

Here then, are five things the OWS protesters' mothers should have taught their children, but obviously didn't,... so I will:

    * Life isn't fair.
The concept of justice - that everyone should be treated fairly - is a worthy and worthwhile moral imperative on which our nation was founded. But justice and economic equality are Not the same. Or, as Mick Jagger said, "You can't always get what you want."

No matter how you try to "level the playing field," some people have better luck, skills, talents or connections that land them in better places.

Some seem to have all the advantages in life, but squander them, others play the modest hand they're dealt and make up the difference in hard work and perseverance. Some find jobs on Wall Street and eventually buy houses in the Hamptons. Is it fair? Stupid question.

    * Nothing is "Free."
Protesting with signs that seek "Free" college degrees and "Free" health care, make you look like idiots, because colleges and hospitals don't operate on Rainbows and Sunshine.

There is No magic 'money machine' to tap for Your meandering educational careers and "slow paths" to adulthood. The remaining 53 percent of taxpaying Americans, owe you neither a degree, nor an annual physical.

While I'm pointing out this obvious fact, here are a few other things you flagrantly consume, that are Not Free:
Overtime for police officers and municipal workers, trash hauling, repairs to fixtures and property, condoms, Band-Aids and the Food that inexplicably appears on the tables in your makeshift protest kitchens. Real people with real dollars are underwriting your civic temper tantrum.

    * Your word is your bond.
When you demonstrate to eliminate student loan debt, you are advocating precisely the lack of integrity you decry in others. Loans are made based on solemn promises to Repay them. No one forces you to borrow money; you are free to choose educational pursuits that don't require loans, or to seek technical or vocational training that allows you to support yourself and your ongoing educational goals.

Also, just for the record, being a college student is not a state of victimization. It's a Privilege that billions of young people around the globe would die for - literally.

    * A protest is Not a party.
On Saturday in New York, while making a mad dash from my cab to the door of my hotel to avoid you, I saw what isn't evident in the newsreel footage of your demonstrations:

Most of you are doing this only for attention and fun. Serious people in a sober pursuit of social and political change, don't dance jigs down Sixth Avenue like attendees of a Renaissance festival. You look foolish, you smell gross, you are clearly high and you don't seem to realize that all around you, are people who deem you irrelevant.

    * There are reasons you haven't found jobs.
The truth? Your tattooed necks, gouged and stretched ringed ears, facial piercings and dirty dreadlocks, are off-putting. Nonconformity for the sake of nonconformity, isn't a virtue. Occupy reality:

Only 4 percent of college graduates are out of work. If you are among that 4 percent, find a mirror and face the problem.
    .... It's Not them.... It's YOU.

    Santa Claus Coat

    Rec'd as Email...

I remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid.

I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her on the day my big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus," she jeered. "Even dummies know that!"
My Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always told the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot easier when swallowed with one of her "world-famous" cinnamon buns. I knew they were world-famous, because Grandma said so. It had to be true.

Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm. Between bites, I told her everything. She was ready for me. "No Santa Claus?" she snorted...."Ridiculous! Don't believe it. That rumor has been going around for years, and it makes me mad, plain mad!! Now, put on your coat, and let's go."

"Go? Go where, Grandma?" I asked. I hadn't even finished my second world-famous cinnamon bun. "Where" turned out to be Kerby's General Store, the one store in town that had a little bit of just about everything. As we walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten dollars. That was a bundle in those days. "Take this money," she said, "and buy something for someone who needs it. I'll wait for you in the car." Then she turned and walked out of Kerby's.

I was only eight years old. I'd often gone shopping with my mother, but never had I shopped for anything all by myself. The store seemed big and crowded, full of people scrambling to finish their Christmas shopping.

For a few moments I just stood there, confused, clutching that ten-dollar bill, wondering what to buy, and who on earth to buy it for.

I thought of everybody I knew: my family, my friends, my neighbors, the kids at school, the people who went to my church.

I was just about thought out, when I suddenly thought of Bobby Decker. He was a kid with bad breath and messy hair, and he sat right behind me in Mrs. Pollock's grade-two class. Bobby Decker didn't have a coat. I knew that because he never went out to recess during the winter.

His mother always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he had a cough, but all we kids knew that Bobby Decker didn't have a cough; he didn't have a good coat. I fingered the ten-dollar bill with growing excitement. I would buy Bobby Decker a coat!
I settled on a red corduroy one that had a hood to it. It looked real warm, and he would like that.
"Is this a Christmas present for someone?" the lady behind the counter asked kindly, as I laid my ten dollars down. "Yes, ma'am," I replied shyly. "It's for Bobby."

The nice lady smiled at me, as I told her about how Bobby really needed a good winter coat. I didn't get any change, but she put the coat in a bag, smiled again, and wished me a Merry Christmas.

That evening, Grandma helped me wrap the coat (a little tag fell out of the coat, and Grandma tucked it in her Bible) in Christmas paper and ribbons and wrote, "To Bobby, From Santa Claus" on it.
Grandma said that Santa always insisted on secrecy. Then she drove me over to Bobby Decker's house, explaining as we went that I was now and forever officially, one of Santa's helpers.
Grandma parked down the street from Bobby's house, and she and I crept noiselessly and hid in the bushes by his front walk. Then Grandma gave me a nudge. "All right, Santa Claus," she whispered, "get going."

I took a deep breath, dashed for his front door, threw the present down on his step, pounded his door and flew back to the safety of the bushes and Grandma.

Together we waited breathlessly in the darkness for the front door to open. Finally it did, and there stood Bobby.

Fifty years haven't dimmed the thrill of those moments spent shivering, beside my Grandma, in Bobby Decker's bushes. That night, I realized that those awful rumors about Santa Claus were just what Grandma said they were -- ridiculous. Santa was alive and well, and we were on his team.

I still have the Bible, with the coat tag tucked inside: $19.95.

May you always have LOVE to share,
HEALTH to spare and FRIENDS that care...

And may you always believe in the magic of Santa Claus!

ORWELL 1984 "Those who control the Past"---

    Posted by guest Robo:

How did we get to this point?

"Those who control the past, control the future". "Those who control the present' controls the past".
Big Brother's party slogan: "1984," by George Orwell.

"The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace Alarmed-and thus clamorous to be led to safety, by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary."
    H.L. Mencken

Think these "Progressive" scary thoughts; Global Warming, DDT, MMA Vaccines, Acid rain, Alar, Green Energy (subsidized by taxpayers of course), Organic (fine if it's voluntary), Ethanol (Al Gore again), Silicone implants, Dietary fraud from oat bran-fructose, that are nothing. Keep the electorate frightened of the Boogy man and let them know that you, as a candidate for office, will save them from imaginary harm.

Some Democrats bolted the party and Obama's coat tails in order to get re-elected. Does that mean we are all racist now?
I'll check with the Rev. Al, Rev. Jesse, Rev. Wright, and the rest of the self appointed Rev's, Oprah, Michelle, Obama's affirmative action prof on African studies, the rappers, the gangsta's, Kenya West, NAACP, BET, and anyone else the media has proclaimed "Expert" in racial matters.

Sooooo Tom DeLay gets 3 years in prison for funneling Private donor's money to Other candidates. Money freely given, no one was ripped off, but rules is rules and he gets 3 years. Why didn't Charles Rangle get something more than a rebuke for ripping off 'The Taxpayers'? Why didn't he do time for not paying his fair share, as Joe Biden 'says' he wants Everyone Else to do? Why has Congresswoman Maxine Waters not been brought before the tribunal?

It's been known, for years, that Maxine (of South LA fame) funneled taxpayers money into her husband's bank to help the poor. Instead her husband treated the bank as his own piggy bank. LA LA Times (a major supporter of Maxine) has been writing about this for years. In the year end edition, of the LA LA Times, they had a wish list. One of the wishes for 2011 was that; "Maxine gets off, not that she deserves it, but we hope she gets off".

Of course Maxine has many things going for her, she's a self proclaimed socialist (Progressive), African (like Charles Rangle), a female, and a Democrat (like Rangle). Can't become more immune from the law than that. Poor Tom DeLay, born Honkey, male, Republican, bad Tom, bad!

2010 the taxpayers gave up $6 billion in tax credits to subsidize ethanol, a fuel that is nearly a third less efficient as gasoline, has contributed to the increase in the price of corn, and can potentially cause engine damage. You can send a thank you note to Al Gore for this. The same Al Gore that wants to shove "Global Warming" junk science down your throat. Make sure the thank you note is "Green" so as not to endanger trees, must support the post office, produce no carbon, or upset the whales.

LA LA Times is calling the new Cali governor the "governor of the people." Can't wait until May 1st to grab my hammer and sickle and march in the parade. Isn't that what the "Progressives" want and do?

How did we get to this point in our country's history?

Media? Mainstream Media? Not to marginalize in any way the shootings in Tucson, AZ. but I first read about it an hour after the shootings on AOHELL. They said the shooter was "probably" influenced by Sarah Palin and the Teabaggers. No evidence, nothing but the writers lock step "Progressive" mentality.

Turns out the same mentality was exercised by the; "New York Times, LA Times, and other "Progressive" publications and media. Don't these people think? Do they have the capacity to think? Even my small town local newspaper, "Progressive" of course; got into the act.

When it was proven they were wrong, that a mad man committing the shooting was closer in philosophy to the left, the media started backtracking and saying, "it could have happened", "can't we be civil to each other?"

The question I have to ask is where were these pontificating hypocrites when their Messiah was talking:
    "I'm itching for a fight."
    "They bring a knife...We bring a gun."
    "Get in their faces!"
"I don't want to quell anger. I think people are right to be angry! I'm angry!"
    "Hit back twice as hard."
"We talk to these folks...so I know who's ass to kick."
"Republican victory would mean 'Hand to Hand combat.'"
"It's time to fight for it.
"Punish your enemies" (referring to Americans who disagree with Democrats).
And Michelle's quote when she took a well needed vacation to Europe to demand the Olympic Committee give the games to Chicago, "We'll take no prisoners."
Must be a culture thing from the hood.

Where was the hypocritical Media calling for cooling of rhetoric then?

What about the "Progressives" Bashing Bush for 10 years? Where was the outrage and the high ground by the media? Where was the media when Cheney went into the hospital and on-line blogs hoping he wouldn't come out alive? Where were the sanctimonious hypocrites then?

If the "Progressive" media really must twist it's shorts in a knot and find blame someplace why not start with the "Progressive" ACLU who started shutting down the mental institutions in the 60s because the insane have rights too. If mental institutions were in existence, this insane killer would have been locked up.
